After making a mistake, you should not ask yourself “What was I thinking?” You should ask, “Did you die?”

The answer of course would be “No” and that should be your motivator. If you live through it, you’ve already gained the spark of momentum you need to carry on. So push yourself! Keep going!

It’s no secret; your mistakes make you smarter. When you know better, you do better. When you make a mistake, you know what not to do the next time around. Or at least, you know how to do it better next time so it doesn’t feel as bad.

Think of your mistakes as practice. Often times, when you practice, you need a coach to motivate you to become greater. The more you practice the greater your chances of becoming great and getting it right. Let your mistakes be your motivator, not your excuse.
